On this Bhishma Ekadasi of the Sri Viswavasu year — 29 January 2026 — I humbly mark the 17th anniversary of realizing the true nature. Nineteen years ago, the inner call to sadhana began under the guidance of Swami Virajeshwara Saraswati. What commenced with reading Sadhana and Meditation soon deepened into a 600-day sadhana, from 17 June 2007 to 5 February 2009, completing the first phase of samanvaya in my Vedanta practice. Since then, this sacred journey has unfolded in time like a cosmic dialogue between devotion, inquiry, and Grace itself.

Gita Jayanti:
Gita Jayanti of Sri Viswavasu year 2025 talk at Hamsa Ashramam
This is a talk given on Gita Jayanti during the Sri Viswavasu year (2025) at Hamsa Ashramam, presented on the Prasad Chitta YouTube channel. The talk reflects on the significance of Gita Jayanti — the celebration of the Bhagavad Gita’s teaching moment in the Mahabharata — framing it as a timeless dialogue of inner inquiry, duty, and self-realization. The speaker explores how the scripture’s wisdom applies to personal sadhana, life’s challenges, and the ongoing pursuit of understanding one’s true nature.
During this year, many Facebook Live recordings have also been migrated to the above YouTube Channel.
A deeper study into Tantra and Agamas across multiple traditions has also found expression through 12 posts on Medium: https://medium.com/@prasad_chitta
As I look back across this Metonic return—nineteen years from that first “Path to Realization” post to this Bhishma Ekadasi of 2026—I see the same truth shining with greater simplicity: the path was never outside, only the mind’s movement made it appear so. What began as a sincere aspiration, shaped by sadhana and guided by Grace, has matured into a quieter certainty that all seeking ultimately resolves in the seeker. May this remembrance strengthen the resolve to live the teaching, deepen the inquiry, and rest more and more in that which remains unchanged.
